SmartACT allows the laser to make a much shorter ramping process, reducing the job run time, and creating higher productivity by reducing unnecessary travel.
A better way to explain SmartAct is by using your car as an analogy. The faster you go the greater distance it takes to stop. This is true no mater how fast your car is. It takes more distance to get up to 60 MPH than it does to go 10 MPH. When you use a laser cutting machine, this distance is referred to as ramping. A simple rule of thumb is the faster a machine goes the greater acceleration and deceleration distance (or ramping distance and time) is required.
All LaserPro Spirit Series and Explorer laser cutting machines have a patented feature called SmartAct. SmartAct virtually eliminates the time and distance that you waste on ramping while you’re using laser engraving equipment. SmartAct allows you to engrave while the laser engraving machine is in full acceleration and declaration. Our technology looks at the speed of the servo motor’s encoder at the moment the laser is pulsed (fired). Each pulse is modulated to match the speed at that instant.GCC’s Patent insures only LaserPro owners will benefit from this unique and powerful feature. The obvious benefits are faster engraving times and smaller designs, with larger work areas than the competition can offer. Why travel 8″ left to right to do a simple 2 ” wide business card? SmartAct can do the same thing while only traveling 2.2″ in less time!

Center Home makes doing the difficult SIMPLE. Lets face it some objects do not lend themselves to easy layouts. If you want to put your customer’s name on a wedding knife, or on the shaft of crescent wrench or screw driver, or just as simple as personalizing a pen, just how do you create that type of layout? How to you get you item in the machine so the information goes where you need it? This can be very difficult and costly on competitor’s equipment, as you waste time and potentially parts. It is a easy as 1,2,3 with a LaserPro Spirit Series machine.

You read right, we can cut through thicker material in a single pass than anyone Totally unique to our equipment!
¼” with only a 12 watt tube
½” with only a 30 watt tube
¾” with our 60 watt tube
1″ with our 100 watt tube
Side note
LaserPro has even cut 1¼” Thick Acrylic in a single pass on the Gaia 100.
FACT
Speed is directly tied to power. No matter how much power you have available, the speed of your cut will determine if you can cut all the way through or not. Granted you could cut ½” with two passes with other lasers, but the result is a double heated cut, an hour glass effect to the material, a “shelf” where the second cut begins and an overall crude cut.
LaserPro has 87 quality engineers in our corner. With this quantity of expertise we have more control over our motion assembly than anyone, period. Our equipment can cut through thicker material in a single pass than anyone, a totally UNIQUE feature of laser engravers/cutters by LaserPro.
Imagine an order for lasering a bat and the customer wants the entire length lasered. We give you the ability to laser not only the ends “like everyone else,” but we also enable you to laser the entire length of the bat.
Our Spirit, Spirt LS, Spirit GLS, and Gaia Series give you standard a front hinged door and a unique rear hinged door to enable you to take up to , 26.75″ (Spirit), 40″ (Spirit GLS), 51.5″ (Gaia) wide material by ANY length and “feed” it through the body. Another UNIQUE feature of laser engravers/cutters by LaserPro.
Ever receive a custom order that is an odd oval shape, or the customer wants lasering on a specific area that will require quite a bit of accurate measuring and mistakes are not an option? We have a unique solution that is fast, accurate and simple.
Using an object that you can visualize (till graphics get placed here), a driftwood clock. It is flat, but has a raised clock in the center, there are no square corners and the edges of driftwood are generally not flat, there may be a bevel that causes the edge to ride over your ruler. Overall we’ll say the driftwood is 14″x18″ in size and is unique, and not replaceable. Let’s make this more difficult and say it is a 100 year clock being given by your customer to his 18 year old great-grandson so he can learn the value of time as he begins his new life.
Now that we’ve setup the scenario, your customer wants a well-wish statement and his signature lasered to an area about 2″x3″ in size. Normally this would cause a large amount of measuring, positioning and a little bit of prayer because you cannot make a mistake.
Here are the simple steps using our unique Relative Move.
This procedure literally takes seconds. The only time involved is setting up the layout. The actual size of the object and its position on the table is completely irrelevant. When you select Relative Move within our most powerful driver you are telling the LaserPro engraver/cutter that you want to choose the home position on the table yourself, that the default location in the upper left corner will not do.
Simple as that, super fast, always accurate and totally UNIQUE to laser engravers/cutters by LaserPro
We have such control over our motion system that we can move the head ANYWHERE on the table without pressing a single button ever!
Before:
Imagine if you will the above scenario without a freely moveable lens assembly. Don’t you agree that would pretty much defeat the purpose and make Relative Move useless? So did we and that is why we implemented the moveable lens assembly feature.
After:
This enables you to move the lens assembly carriage to any location on the table to allow easy access to your material. To move it forward to lock it in place for moving or shipping. To move from the area you want to clean up. The reasons for being able to move the head after a job are endless, but it’s good to know LaserPro has given you that ability, for whatever reason.
Before, during or after you can rest assured that the lens carriage assembly is freely moving and totally UNIQUE to laser engravers/cutters by LaserPro
We don’t just provide a basic model with laser tube and/or table size choices. That would be to easy for us and would not be in the best interest of you the customer. Every customer has different needs, requirements, budget, etc. and this would be a serious limitation.
We offer 8 laser models of various table sizes, overall equipment sizes, with many wattage choices. All designed for various budgets, space constraints, power requirements, flexibility needs, etc.
We have designed our LaserPro engravers to utilize the same driver so all the capabilities you find in the software for our flagship Spirit GLSare utilized in the “Desktop” C180 all the way up to the “Industrial” Gaia II.
We program our driver to work across our Laser family of engravers in equal power and flexibility. Just because your budget or needs only allowed for a smaller model our driver is in no way “crippled” or “enhanced” for larger models. The power you’ve come to expect from our equipment is available across the board, from Rubber stamp/seal engraving, to 3D engraving, to raster engraving, to vector cutting. A UNIQUE offering of laser engravers/cutters by LaserPro
What does 3D engraving mean? As a visual comparison, remember your school days and the world globe that had terrain to resemble the mountains, valleys and oceans of the world? This is a great example of what TRUE 3D should look like. Produce true 3D images only with a LaserPro engraver/cutter! Just use any grayscale photo with 256 shades of gray. The darker the shade of each pixel in the original photograph, the more power the LaserPro applies. More power means deeper cuts.
Although you can simulate 3D engraving with any laser engraver, the LaserPro line of engravers/cutters takes the procedure to the most accurate representation of 3D engraving to produce a TRUE 3D effect. Most lasers including ours have/use a black and white mode, essentially using a density effect as opposed to 3D engraving which uses a power effect. With our 3D mode selection, unique and ONLY available in the LaserPro driver, you get a truer more accurate 3D image.
Allow me to explain. In CorelDRAW we’ll use a 1″ square filled with 10% gray shade of color:
In the traditional method of lasering, the driver simply converts the color to a shade of gray. The laser will simply pulse 10% of the time, essentially using a density of 10% to fill the square. With a magnifying glass you could see the coarseness in the square as “less” dots are used to simulate the shade of gray. You could compare this to the old dot-matrix printers which simulates gray by the positioning of dots.
In true 3D mode the laser continually fires but at only 10% power. Here we won’t see the pulsing of power but a continuous firing of the laser at 10% power. Looking closely at the lasered area will show not a course 10% of dots but smooth shade of gray as opposed to a bunch of dots to simulate the gray.
Only available in the LaserPro line of engravers/cutters you can now achieve a true 3D effect in your images. As long as you use a grayscale image of up to the maximum shades available of 256 levels, our driver will bring you to the closest representation of TRUE 3D ENGRAVING. Totally unique and exclusive to LaserPro
Truly unique to LaserPro cutters/engravers is our Vector Sort feature. This feature simplifies cutting objects by placing the objects into a logical order. Imagine if you will having to cut out a company name, such as, LaserPro and doing the outline first before getting to the center of the letters; aePo. What you would get is the center of letters potentially getting out of focus once the entire LaserPro was cut out, since it normally would want to drop down after being cut out.
If CorelDRAW is left to its own you may get undesirable results. Or you could optimally create your object in advance by creating each cut out in the order you would want the laser to cut it out. As an example if you wanted to cut out a square, circle then triangle you would have to first create the square, circle then triangle. If you created the objects in the order of circle, square then triangle, Corel will take that order sequence in vectoring out the objects. That is a very simple/basic example, but what if you have a complex image such as a company name? Creating each object in the order you want can be time consuming and involve quite a bit of guesswork.
With our Vector Sort feature, you don’t have to worry about it or even concern yourself in any way, shape or form. Create your image as you see fit, click on the vector sort selection and let our driver do the work for you. End of discussion, end of story, end of job. Works every time, works great and simplifies the process, a feature truly unique to
We are proud to include this feature as standard with all of our laser engravers line (except the Neptune & Stellar Mark Series). Depending on the lens being used, whether the 1.5″, 2″, 2.5″, or 4″ lens you must focus the lens that specific distance from the material being lasered. Although we include the tool to do this manually, why would you? This is a tedious process and subject to error. To manually focus you basically place the tool inside the slot next to the lens and using the up or down arrow move the table to just touch the bottom of the tool. Keep in mind that the laser beam is five thousands (.005) of an inch in diameter and is extremely accurate and requires an exact distance for optimum quality in your lasering. In a nutshell doing this manual method is prone to human error.
LaserPro laser engravers have Focal Sharp TM (Patent Pending). It is the only one button touch, one touch automatic focus tool and is a standard feature on LaserPro Mercury, Ruby, Jupiter & Venus laser engraving systems. No more fumbling, trial and error focusing. Your engraving projects becomes faster with unmatched quality, plus, increased productivity means increased profit.
Imagine if you will a beam of light, thousands of degrees in temperature, cutting a piece of acrylic or wood. Imagine if you will that the cutting was left unattended and now the material has caught on fire. Now imagine the laser engraver when the flame gets out of control and there is no one there to prevent the laser from melting and literally destroying the laser. Now stop imagining! This did happen years ago to a well known company that had an employee leave his post as the laser was vector cutting a piece of acrylic and the flame that the beam/material created literally destroyed their laser.
This is where Air-Assist truly shines. With an air compressor attached to our standard Air-Assist you have a continuous flow of air blowing directly at the area the laser beam is engraving/cutting. LaserPro laser engravers/cutters have this as a standard feature for a few reasons.
First it protects your investment by eliminating flames.
Second when the laser beam vaporizes what it touches the Air-Assist helps to get the debris air born so that the vacuum/blower can grab it and ventilate it.
Third with this removal of debris you get a cleaner, better quality cut/engraved image

This is a no brainer, we have the most powerful laser engraver driver on the market. With the hardware features we add as standard and/or unique our supporting software far exceeds what anyone else has available. Some features include:
With numerous engineers ( 87 engineers, 6 with Doctorates and 12 with Bachelors Degrees) having 79 patents pending and 60 actual patents owned ensures we will maintain the claim of “The Best Laser Engraver EVER Made!” working on our equipment and drivers regularly you can be sure that new features are added or older ones are improved upon on a regular basis. But you might wonder what this new driver will cost you and how to obtain new drivers when released? Once a LaserPro customer, always a LaserPro customer. We have a standard policy that our drivers are FREE upgrades to our customers. Occasionally a new driver feature may require a firmware upgrade (software upgrade to the laser itself), these are provided FREE of charge also.
Updating to a new driver or firmware upgrade are a free and simple process. All customers that have registered at LaserProNA.com will regularly receive update notifications, with instructions on where to download, how to install and what the new features provided do. The mode you will most likely use on a regular basis. In this mode you can successfully hold up to 100 files on your LaserPro laser engraver/cutter. This will allow you to cycle through the available files on your laser for future lasering per laser session. As long as you name your files in a recognizable name format then cycling through the available files is a piece of cake, allowing you to re-engrave as necessary.

Laser light is virtually invisible so determining the location of where the beam will begin or in our Relative Move selection, determining where the page begins is very difficult. If you cannot see the laser light the LaserPro produces, then how do you see where to position? LaserPro has a solution that is standard on ALL our equipment. A red beam pointer.
Similar to what an instructor/professor uses when wanting to point to a specific spot from anywhere in a room or the same kind you’ve probably seen at movie theatres that kids use to annoy moviegoers. With the ability to choose the home location you desire anywhere on the table, sometimes it can get quite difficult to know where that specific home is. With a red beam point standard on all LaserPro laser engravers/cutters you can always be sure that the location of the laser beam is in the same area as the red beam pointer. Unlike some companies that either don’t put it into writing or make extravagant claims that their equipment is this and that we stand behind our claims and put it into writing. You can be sure that this is proof positive that we stand behind our equipment. We don’t simply make the claim that our equipment is durable, dependable, reliable and virtually bullet proof. We know our equipment is all this and much, much more. But saying it and backing it up are entirely different. Because we have such faith in our equipment we back all of the LaserPro line of engravers/cutters with a two (2) warranty, bumper to bumper, including the laser tube.
You can be sure that this is the industry’s longest and most thorough warranty. Our entire family of laser engravers/cutters carry a two (2) year warranty. Also once your a customer of LaserPro, your always a customer of LaserPro and we will take care of you and do what it takes to keep you satisfied, productive and profitable.
